Germantown Mill Lofts

In the late 2010s, Louisville's historic Germantown neighborhood was experiencing significant growth and gaining attention from local and migrating young talent. As the area flourished, our team saw an opportunity to leverage historic tax credits to redevelop the neighborhood’s largest structure, an underperforming 1800s cotton mill turned 2000s antique mall.

In 2014, the team began converting the space into a reimagined, bustling mixed-use, multi-family development. Two years later, the 250,000-square-foot Germantown Mill Lofts opened with 189 multi-family units and 24,000 square feet of restaurant, retail, and office space. Within 12 months, the space was fully leased under in-house property management.

Today, the space remains one of Louisville’s most successful infill redevelopments. The Germantown neighborhood continues on a trajectory of growth, with Germantown Mill Lofts standing as a pillar of the neighborhood’s revitalization.
